For most of my life, when things got hard — I held my breath.

I didn't know I was doing it. I didn't know that every impossible moment, every feeling I didn't have room for, every thing I couldn't say out loud — I was locking it in my body. Storing it. Carrying it like it was mine to carry forever.

Breathwork is what cracked that open for me.

Not a programme. Not a process. Just breath — and suddenly there were parts of me I hadn't visited in years. Grief I thought I'd dealt with. Joy I'd forgotten I was allowed to feel. A version of myself that had been waiting, very patiently, for me to come back.
